| Dr. Wendy Caldwell grew up in Florence, SC. She attended the College of Charleston, where she graduated in 1990 with a degree in Spanish. She later earned her M.A. in Spanish at the University of South Carolina in 1993 and her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in 1998. Her dissertation title was "Contextualizaciones del pensamiento de la liberación en la novela chiapaneca." Dr. Caldwell's current research interests include the contemporary Latin American narrative and women's studies. Dr. Caldwell has studied abroad in Chiapas, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain. | ||||||
