Ms. McMillan received a BA in English from Converse College in 1984 and did graduate work at the Universite d'Ete in Versailles in 1987. In 1990, she completed her MA in French at the Middlebury School in France. Her teaching experience includes Francis Marion University, Florence- Darlington Technical College, and Coker College. She plays guitar and sings professionally (folk rock) and has a CD out. Ms. McMillan also teaches French courses on-line and designed her own French 102 internet course.
