The Spring Conference will be held at Furman University
Student Center in Greenville, SC. on March 30 and 31. Furman's theme for
2006-7 is "Year of the Environment". We will have field trips
to upstate public lands led by knowledgeable folks. Come see a former
environmental wasteland that is a place of beauty with new trails and observation
decks and learn how Furman is restoring its lake to a place of beauty.

Field Trips include:
Furman University campus and lake restoration
project, Wildcat Wayside botany walk, Paris Mountain aquatic ecology and
the EIC project at Pickens Middle School
Early morning birding hike, Lake
Conestee Nature Park, Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area, Project Learning
Tree Teacher workshop, and League Academy tree garden.
